THERE IS A PLACE IN THIS HERE TOWN, CALLED BISLET CIRCLE.
070801 07:48 I was sitting at Bislet Circle about 0ne o´clock this morning when my dear friend called and eventually we continued our visit---I like Bislet Circle, altho it is a bad system for cars etc.
150801 16:23 Think of all the ovels you redd (my spelling) about e g, “Peyton Place” or other sych---remember all of them. So, now i do not have to write you yet another such.
030901 0121 These weeks Bislet Circle is closed so the tramcar tracks can be repaired. It is nice to have my part of street without traffic, and I am sure Derrick is glad.
180901 1902 They are not merely fixing tracks, they are doing all kinds of construction to prepare (maybe) for changes to Bislet Stadium.
061201 2022 What a nice day. I am here at home of my daughter and her husband (father also of my grand-daughter) and my grand-daughter. The day started at noon when I awoke while listening to classical music radio and thought I was to use the computer at home of Kristin (you notice I am avoiding code complexities like apostrophe bit), but she needed it. So I figured I would drop over to Egils store (the store of Egil)(you notice that I failed to avoid code bit re parentheses)(anyway, in Norwegian possessive uses the letter S but without apostrophe), but he was not there, the store (used books ) was closed, but I got my favorite coffee anyway (next door from his store is Kaffebreneriet --- like, competitor type to I forget the name I mean coffee shops) called Torshamar (the hammer of Tor) --- which is mix of espresso with ordinary. So while I am waiting for it to get cool enuf to drink (even tho I added some milk) I am waiting outside, maybe Egil will show up or I will do something else. Anyway I see one of the workers clearing land mines from the area (near Bislet) and rebuilding the tramcar (trikk) tracks, which they have been at for a couple months, and mention pleasantly to him that they need an added traffic signal. But he explains to me that while the one pointed in what I took to be the wrong direction was for pedestrian crossing, the traffic lights that mattered there were on the other side of that street. I may write to the establishment with my suggestion. Anyway, I decided to take a trikk into town. The trikk came along and I was on it pleasantly drinking the rest of my coffee, and it was delayed about five minutes but I reminded myself that I personally did not care, as I was not really going anywhere special. Eventually I got into town and the weather was getting warmer so I was overdressed. I was also tired because I slept only from six thirty A M. but now it is evening and I am waking up a bit. But anyway I decided to not try to find the child-security store for the stove barrier ,or to try to go over to where I guess Bernard still works to ask about a used scanner, but instead to let my fingers do the walking by fone etc. But I went over to where the Turkish restaurant is, near the famous Oslo City Hall, but it was closed at that hour ( they have buffet salad I like and had not had for many months) and I walked down to Aker Brygge and had what I believe is Oslošs best pizza at Pizzarito, which I suppose I am guilty for afflicting with competitor Dolly Dimple (Oslošs second best pizza) which I go to at another location, and had months earlier there mentioned that Pizzarito is best, so of course it is my fault they moved in on them. In the meantime I had walked past the sacred place where after 8 years I had a few years ago met again Kristin, i e, in front of The National Theater, where people traverse in the center of town sorta. And I remembered that (altho I may indeed be wrong, I mean it may have been the third of December) it was the sixth of December that that had occurred --- so, anniversary of one of the greatest days in my life; I had long been in the habit of peering at certain females to see if they were her, and lo and behold it was!!!!!!!!!!! So a day of nostalgia. On the way to Aker Brygge I passed the place where I had decided to pursue the woman who became the mother of my daughter --- and the place where she worked in those bygone times was right nearby also. Of course I often pass those places, but this day was a day of nostalgia, and a lovely grey day not cold or stormy, and good for a bit of walking, and I also snapped a couple fotos as today I had with me one of my better cameras. While I was eating the pizza my daughter foned to say when I should be at her place this evening ( for supper and later to babysit). Then I took a trikk (tramcar) to Majorstua, which is a square near the west part of Oslo (sort of the garteway to the western suburbs, complete with transit hub and Hari Krishna restaurant) and walked in to my pub, after having bot (my improved spelling) vitamin E at the apothecary (I disapporve of calling them "drugstores" for that encourages confusion in the minds of the weakminded) as in Norway strong (over 30 units) pills of vitamin E cannot be got in the health food stores (strange expression, wot?), and I buy 100 unit (taking two a day), also picked up a reflex on a string (traffic reflecter) and a reflector belt type. On the way I got three bargain CDs for gifts, and another one for me. And I avoided buying tobacco (little cigars). So, and I probably remembered subconsciously, having a few weeks earlier met an oldtime friend (the word friend is used by me to mean any acquaintance) from the pub who said hope to see me (and her sister would be there too) at the debut party for the Christmas beer, an invitation event --- anyway when I got to the pub it was (altho after 3 PM) closed, with a sign saying closed party until 8 PM --- So I sez to myself, see its (avoiding apostrophe) that sort of day, and slowly addressed the prospect of going into the pub across the street; that pub ("Olsen Bar") had years ago been the place and we sat there and watched Mikro building even, so again it was nostalgia (then called “Olsens”) --- and one of the barmaids from Mikro (my pub) came out and said be sure to come back at 5PM because etc, so aha, and in Olsen were several like me waiting, but when I told Kurt my new joke (what is the name of the poem known throughout the Western world and written by a canine poet? Answer: Bark Ode) he did not consider it funny. And when we went over to Mikro it was good I had my very good camera and flash (called here "blitz") because of all the happy guests getting free beer, and I left after about forty minutes to come over and babysit, which was a good thing. Charlotte foned to ask me to pick up some canned pineapple, which I did. And then we all had fun with Felicia and each other. May I take a rest ?
