HOW TO BE A FOOL
HOW
TO BE A FOOL
250701 20:20 NOT ALL FOOLS ARE IDIOTS.
20:40 For all of my life up to about age forty-five, I could not
for the life of me figure out why or how come my father, Murray, was a
fool. At last I figured it out. he had decided at age eight years to be
a non-human anti-person. His own father had done something Murray
disapproved of and that gave him the chance to reject his father, and be
perfect in his own eyes forever by not ever changing---my father fixated
himself age eight.
140801 05:17 Some people talk to others by talking to themselves,
and actually imitating (unconsciously usually) those who talked to them
before, e g, their parents. They believe they are transmitting
something---but it is if so plague usually.
07:23 Watch out for fools like Germaine Greer who show their
defensiveness by acid wit attempt.
200801 1813 To be a fool, ignore the following:
When
dealing with obstreperous pre-teens: remember: do not use hands on other
people´s kids, use your brain, remember they are children, remember
that the world is controlled by lawyers.
corollaries: do not try to win, let them win.
remember that people are herd animals: they listen to neighbors
instead of using own eyes ( they turn off own eyes).
remember
that kids in prepuberty and early teens do not know where they are, and
cannot see the future at all.
230901 1807 People often mistakenly call “greed” what
is actually a lust to be smarter, to get something cheaper or for nothing
by being smarter --- it is not the money itself, but the money as points in
a game; and note this re (with reference to) gambling: the real disorder
(what Jesus called “the love of money”) is often a perversion
along these lines, akin to the obsession with what is foolishly called
“power”, instead of an actual desire to have things or money
per se (in themselves)(as themselves). So, we should study that
compulsion to be smarter, as a dynamic source of much trouble in behavior
(and not only human). This of course also applies to the fallacy that the
profession of “Economics”(what is called here in Norway
“Macro-economics”) actually describes behavior about wealth
itself; wealth is a human concept, properly; it cannot reasonably be
described except under the aegis (wing) of psychology. Indeed, Marx is
hoist on his own petard (blown up by his own bomb) when he looks forward to
an ideal psychologist of the future: Marx, not being a proper philosopher
(unable to think in a reasonable pattern) builds castles in the air.
